TavernSeat Terms of Service

1.1 Age Requirement. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

1.2 Competency. You must have the legal capacity and authority to enter into these Terms.

2.1 Account Creation. To access certain features of the Service, you must register and create a user account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.

2.2 Account Security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account.

2.3 Single Account. Each individual may hold only one account unless expressly permitted.

3.1 License. TavernSeat grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

3.2 Acceptable Use. You must use the Service in a lawful manner and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You agree not to:

• Violate any laws, third-party rights, or our policies
• Disrupt, degrade, or interfere with Service operation
• Use automated means (bots, scraping tools) to access or interact with the Service

3.3 User-Generated Content. You retain ownership of content you upload, post, or share ("User Content"), but you grant TavernSeat a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, use, reproduce, modify, and display that content in connection with providing the Service.

4.1 Community Standards. You agree to conduct yourself respectfully and in a manner consistent with any posted Code of Conduct or community guidelines. Behavior that is abusive, harassing, discriminatory, or unlawful may lead to suspension or termination of your account.

4.2 No Disintermediation. Users may not attempt to circumvent the Service to take transactions or relationships outside of TavernSeat without authorization.

5.1 Fees. All fees are clearly disclosed at the time of purchase or booking. By making a purchase, you authorize us to charge you.

5.2 Refunds. Refunds, if offered, are governed by our separate Refund Policy.

6.1 By You. You can cancel your account at any time via your account settings or by contacting support.

6.2 By TavernSeat. We may suspend or terminate your access at our discretion for violations of these Terms, law, or policies.

7.1 Service Provided "As-Is." You acknowledge that the Service may have bugs, downtime, and that performance is not guaranteed.

7.2 No Warranty. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TAVERNSEAT DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

7.3 Limitation of Liability. IN NO EVENT WILL TAVERNSEAT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

8.1 Governing Law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri.

8.2 Dispute Resolution. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration in the State of Missouri, except for small claims court where applicable.

9.1 Updates. We may revise these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on the Service and will become effective upon posting. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
